Meet Our Team
Douglas Reynolds
Attorney Douglas Reynolds is a native of Huntington, West Virginia. After earning a bachelors degree in political science from Duke University in 1999, he went onto the West Virginia University College of Law and he was admitted to the West Virginia Bar in 2002. After law school, Douglas returned to Huntington to take a position with the Cabell County Public Defender's Office. In 2003 Douglas left the Public Defender's Office to start his own law firm, focusing on the needs of small business and the people of our region.
Doug Reynolds’ passion for helping people doesn’t stop at the Reynolds & Associates law office. In 2006, Doug was the number one vote getter in the sixteenth legislative district of the West Virginia House of Delegates. As a legislator, Doug has sponsored and supported numerous bills that have made an incredible impact on the personal and professional lives of people throughout the entire State of West Virginia. Doug’s commitment as an attorney and legislator is evident throughout his continual gift of his time and energy to make our region a better place to work and live.
Because the need for investment in people and business has never been greater, Doug has worked tirelessly to promote business ventures that create career path jobs. Doug is a founder and director of the First Bank of Charleston, a community bank chartered on the principle of providing financing for small and start up businesses. In his practice, Doug has helped numerous individuals start their own business. Because of his background, Doug helps people navigate though the often-intimidating barriers of entrepreneurship to success in the business world.
Doug is a fervent community activist. His numerous worthwhile efforts include serving on the boards of the United Way of the River Cities, Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Huntington, Prestera Foundation and City of Huntington Foundation.
